Strong Drilling Results Uncover a Gold and Copper Treasure at Wadi Dara

Ankh Resources Limited, led by Engineer Mostafa Talaat, Chairman of the Board, announced the receipt of laboratory assay results from the third diamond drill hole (WDD003), completed at Target Area A within the company’s 100%-owned Wadi Dara Concession in Egypt’s Eastern Desert.
Strong Drilling Results Uncover a Gold and Copper
The results revealed a strong and continuous intersection of gold and copper mineralization, delivering the highest values recorded to date within the current drilling program.
The company reported that the drill hole intersected a 35-meter mineralized interval grading 0.70 g/t gold and 1.28% copper, including a higher-grade zone of 11 meters grading 1.93 g/t gold and 3.36% copper.
This interval also contains a high-grade core of 5.6 meters grading 3.4 g/t gold and 5.7% copper, while selected individual samples returned values of up to 6.55 g/t gold and 15% copper.
Ankh Resources stated that these results support the north-western extension of the structurally controlled mineralized system previously intersected in drill holes WDD001 and WDD002, strengthening confidence in the geological model and confirming the continuity of gold and copper mineralization at greater depths.
The company added that the consistency of the results and the improvement in grades observed in the third drill hole reflect the characteristics of a well-developed hydrothermal system, supporting the expansion of drilling activities across Target Area A during the next phases of the exploration program.
Ankh Resources also noted that a detailed technical announcement has been released, providing full assay results and geological context, while confirming that further market updates will be issued as drilling progresses and additional assay results are received.
Geological Analysis
The drilling results from Wadi Dara indicate the presence of a well-organized and laterally extensive mineral system, where gold and copper are concentrated within clearly defined geological structures such as faults and fractures.
This type of mineralization is widely recognized for its ability to extend both laterally and vertically within the host rocks.
A notable feature of the third drill hole is the repetition of mineralization over relatively long intervals, accompanied by improving gold and copper grades with depth and the development of higher-grade zones within the mineralized section.
These characteristics provide geologists with a clearer understanding of the mineralization pathways and its potential direction of expansion.
The consistency of results across multiple drill holes within the same target area also points to the presence of an integrated hydrothermal system, formed by mineral-rich fluids rising from deep within the Earth’s crust and depositing metals within the rock formations over successive geological phases.
This process explains the regular and coherent distribution of mineralization observed.
the Wadi Dara results outline a geological pattern that can be effectively traced and developed, providing the project with a solid technical foundation to continue exploration activities, alongside realistic prospects for expanding the mineralized footprint in the upcoming stages.
